Arron and Jon At Brands

Hi,

Arron and Jon have been accepted for Tarmac Rally at Brands Hatch on the 30th January, I hope a majority of us can be there to support these guys, been waiting a while to see the scoob out, I know Nudge has been to Kevil to watch them, Lots of classic cars out too, lots of MK11 escorts, 6R4, A Aston V8 Vantage etc will be awesome.

Saw the Rally car today and its looking good, Arron and Jon only have a few little bits left to do, this is the first time the scoob has been out in a long while.
Should be an interesting day.

Well it was a bloody cold day, but a good one, some highs and lows for Arron and Jon but the day ended on a high, car got better as day went one and times improved.
The bmw in the hairpin was bloody funny, not sure thats what Arron intended but it did make us laugh.
The old escorts out did not fail to impress or delight, they were awesome, brought back a few memories i am sure for many off us, especially the white Mk11 with the blue stripe and the Mk1's with there light pods on.
Shame about the little mini having a one sided altercation with the wall which effectively finished his rally, would have loved to have seen the mini's out with their spot lights all ablaze.
All in all a good day and well attended by Watsonscoobies even to the point where a marshall comented "now thats what i call a supporters club"
